SK Hynix has provided the soccer field at its Icheon headquarters in Gyeonggi Province as a handover point for the doctor helicopter, to facilitate the transport of emergency patients.

On September 30, Icheon City announced that it has newly designated the "SK Hynix soccer field site" as a handover point for the doctor helicopter, in order to ensure the rapid transfer of local emergency patients and secure the golden hour.
A "handover point" is a location pre-approved for helicopter takeoff and landing, enabling swift transfer of patients between ambulances and helicopters.
Previously, the SK Hynix soccer field was a restricted area with no public access. However, according to the city, the company decided to improve and open part of its premises, making it available as a handover point.
With this new designation, Icheon City now has a total of 11 doctor helicopter handover points. The handover point will be officially operational starting October 1.
