Jindo County Launches AI-Integrated Local Specialty Sales Service

24-Hour Live Commerce and Digital Logistics System Established

Jindo County Launches AI-Integrated Local Specialty Sales Service Jindo County has ventured into selling local specialties through artificial intelligence technology.

Jindo County in South Jeolla Province has launched a new local specialty sales service that combines artificial intelligence (AI) technology with digital distribution and logistics, accelerating the global expansion of the region's agricultural and marine products.

On September 29, Jindo County announced that it had introduced the regional unified brand "Jindo Eats" and adopted AI-powered real-time live commerce through the "K-Food Industrialization Project," a public-private partnership initiative under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

This service, led by Smart Alttul Market Co., has established a digital integrated system encompassing production, processing, distribution, logistics, and settlement, all based on a logistics hub center (MFC). By linking the Naver Store and AI live commerce, the service enables 24-hour non-face-to-face sales to both domestic and international consumers.

Notably, the AI show host, introduced for the first time in Korea, responds to consumer inquiries in real time and uses the Jindo dialect to highlight the region's unique characteristics. The county aims to achieve monthly sales of 3 billion won through this initiative.

A county official stated, "This project is an innovative model that combines digital logistics and AI-powered sales. We will do our utmost to establish it as a successful case of regional coexistence through public-private cooperation and to ensure that Jindo's agricultural and marine products reach global markets."
