Lee Inseon, the National Assembly member representing Suseong District in Daegu, attended the event in person to listen to voices from the field. Joo Hoeyoung, another People Power Party National Assembly member, sent a congratulatory video message, adding significance and encouragement to the gathering.

This discussion was conducted in a Q&A format, where representatives from all 77 schools in Suseong District could ask questions directly on site, and relevant agencies provided immediate answers, allowing the voices of the school community to be shared vividly.

Key issues discussed on site included expanding the deployment of senior staff at middle schools, improving the quality of meals at small schools, addressing illegal parking and improving traffic signal systems in front of school gates, and enhancing the commuting environment for special education schools.

Assemblywoman Lee Inseon emphasized, "A total of 104 suggestions were submitted by schools in Suseong District, and nearly half of them were related to student safety. Moving forward, we will prioritize high-risk issues, examine them thoroughly, and, if necessary, carefully consider support measures at the National Assembly level."

Assemblyman Jeon Kyungwon of the Daegu Metropolitan Council stated, "Just as Suseong District is known for its passion for education, the needs of the field are also urgent. We will continue to cooperate with the Office of Education, Suseong District Office, and Suseong Police Station to do our utmost to improve student safety and the educational environment."

Additionally, at the end of the meeting, Assemblyman Jeon announced the results of the review on the adjustment of the Suseong 1·4 School Commuting Zone, a long-awaited project that has drawn significant interest and expectations from parents who were present, as it has been requested by local residents for years.

Meanwhile, since 2016, the Education Committee of the Daegu Metropolitan Council has been holding education issue meetings to strengthen on-site communication and resolve educational challenges. This year, following the meeting in Dong District on September 11, Suseong District was the second location. The committee plans to continue holding meetings tailored to the needs of schools in Dalseo District, Dalseong County, Seo District, and Nam District in the future.
