Long Drive Competition at DN Golf Factory Headquarters in Busan on the 29th
Korean and Japanese Long Drive Athletes to Compete Using Feruga Shafts

A special long drive competition will be held at the headquarters of DN Golf Factory in Busan on September 29.


Top long drive athletes from Korea and Japan will gather in one place to compete. All participants will use the FERUGA shaft, the flagship brand of DN Golf Factory.

Nine athletes will represent Korea: Choi Hyungmin, Shin Jieun, Kim Junnyun, Park Semin, Yang Seungah, Choi Jungmin, Kim Jinseong, Baek Myunghak, and Jeong Gihwan. Notably, Choi Hyungmin and Shin Jieun have both won multiple domestic and international long drive championships. Kim Junnyun is a renowned golf lesson YouTuber with over 320,000 subscribers, recognized for both his skill and popularity. Park Semin, as president of the Korea Long Drive Federation (KDF), is not only an athlete but also a key figure in advancing the long drive scene in Korea.


Representing Japan are Yanai Sana, Kawano Yoshikazu, Kato Daisuke, Kobayashi Fumi, Tanaka Yukinori, Soejima Kaito, Baba Kaido, Hirata Chinari, and Yueta Hiyo. Yanai placed fourth at the 2021 PLDA World Championship and was runner-up at the 2022 World Championship. Kato was crowned the 2024 Kyushu Drakon Champion, while Kobayashi boasts an impressive record as runner-up at the 2018 and 2019 JPDA Japan Championships and champion of the 2023 JPDA Japan Tournament.
