Adding More Fun with a Social Media Review Event
The Gumi Children's Science Experience Center (located within the Gumi Municipal Yangpo Library) will host the "Romantic Science Journey" on September 28, providing children with an opportunity to nurture their scientific curiosity and unleash their creativity.
The newly introduced indoor program, "Science Investigation Escape Room," is designed for elementary school students to experience the process of scientific investigation and case-solving firsthand. Participation applications can be submitted through the Gumi Children's Science Experience Center website starting September 23, and advance reservations are required.
In the outdoor area of the Yangpo Library, where the experience center is located, science experience booths will be set up. There will be a total of six programs available on a first-come, first-served basis: ▲Let’s Fly! Ornithopter ▲Sparkle! UV Keychain ▲Spinning Sound Top ▲Buzzing Butterfly Whistle ▲Colorful Pinwheel ▲Elastic Ball Game Racket.
The event is designed so that children can make and explore items themselves, allowing them to naturally understand scientific principles. In addition, a "Random Gift Draw" event will be held for participants who upload their experiences to social media after the event, adding to the fun on site.
Kim Jangho, Mayor of Gumi, stated, "I hope that this event, held amid the abundance of autumn, will be a meaningful time for children to easily understand scientific principles and develop creative thinking, going beyond a simple experience."
