The event, jointly organized by Muju County, the Korea Consumer Agency, the Korea Consumer-Centered Enterprise Association, and Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, will offer on-site, practical services to protect consumer rights and prevent damages for local residents.

Various organizations, including automotive and electronics companies such as the Korea Automotive Mobility Industry Association, as well as the Fair Trade Commission, will collaborate for this event. A range of support programs aimed at enhancing consumer protection and everyday safety for local residents will be provided during the event.

At the Muju Welfare Center for the Disabled and Elderly, "Consumer Damage Prevention Education" will be held twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Additional services include consumer counseling, healthy beverage distribution and health checkups, longevity photo shoots for seniors, free inspections of small home appliances (such as mobile phones and rice cookers), and the collection of discarded appliances.

At the outdoor venue in the parking lot of the Muju National Sports Center, free inspection services from major automotive companies will be available. The Korea Petroleum Quality & Distribution Authority will also conduct authenticity tests on automotive fuels (gasoline and diesel).

To help create a safer living environment, the event will also offer free on-site inspections of large home appliances and boilers at multi-use facilities primarily used by vulnerable groups.

Lim Chaeyoung, Head of the County's Industrial and Economic Division, said, "We expect this event will provide direct benefits to our residents' daily lives. We will do our utmost to promote the event so that everyone can take advantage of the inspection services for home appliances and vehicles that may have been postponed, and we will also ensure the event is operated thoroughly."
