A Step Forward in Child Care
Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Kwangdeok) held the "Namyangju City Elementary Care Institution Sports Competition" at the indoor gymnasium of Hopyeong Sports and Culture Center on the 20th, spending a meaningful time sharing healthy activity and laughter with children.

This sports competition was organized by the Child Care Namyangju Center, with the aim of promoting exchange among local elementary care institutions and providing opportunities for children to interact, fostering cooperation and a sense of community.
The event brought together approximately 240 participants, including children, staff, and volunteers from a total of 13 care institutions-nine local children's centers, three Together Care Centers, and one Imagination Nuri Center. Mayor Joo Kwangdeok, city council members, and elementary care institution officials attended, adding significance to the occasion. The children enjoyed a variety of sports programs, such as tug-of-war, relay races, and cooperative games.
On the day of the event, Mayor Joo Kwangdeok visited the sports competition venue to greet the children and cheer on the festivities. Mayor Joo remarked, "It is meaningful to see all the elementary care centers gathered together for this competition," and added, "We will provide even more support for child care."

The city announced plans to continue expanding the network function of local elementary care institutions, using the Child Care Namyangju Center as a hub, and to provide various programs to support the healthy growth and relationship-building of children.
