Aracne Co., Ltd. received the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute Director's Award in the Idea category at the 2025 Environmental Startup Competition.
This competition was hosted by the Ministry of Environment and organized by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, with a total of 357 teams participating. After seven months of competition, 25 teams were ultimately selected.
The digital wardrobe platform "Munzi," operated by the fashion AI startup Aracne, digitizes clothing data to integrate and connect it like a single cloud. As a widget-type SaaS, it will allow users to match and compare their wardrobes with products on partner shopping mall product pages anytime and anywhere.
Users can build a digital wardrobe with a simple photo, and the real-time matching AI simulates combinations of owned items and new products in terms of color, style, and fit. This increases confidence in purchase decisions and provides users with a differentiated shopping experience.
Hong Haneul, CEO of Aracne, stated, "Munzi is not just a digital wardrobe, but the first step in building a technological infrastructure for sustainable fashion. We will continue to play a key role as a global fashion tech infrastructure player, beautifully shaping the sustainable future of fashion."
The Environmental Startup Competition is a leading domestic contest that discovers outstanding startup ideas in the environmental sector and fosters promising companies to drive the development of the environmental industry. Award-winning teams are exempt from the document review when applying for the "Eco Startup" funding program for environmental startups, and receive additional points when applying for residency in the Green Convergence Cluster in Seo-gu, Incheon. In addition, some teams may be recommended to participate in the integrated ministry startup competition, "Challenge! K-Startup."
