Over 50 Companies and Institutions Participate
Attracting More Than 2,000 Regional Talents
Donga University (President Lee Haewoo) successfully held the "2025 Corporate and Recruitment Information Fair" on September 16 at the International Hall and Dawoo Hall on the Bumin Campus.
This fair, hosted by Donga University and the Ministry of Employment and Labor and sponsored by Korea YBM, featured leading domestic conglomerates such as Korean Air, CJ CheilJedang, Lotte Hotel, Hana Bank, LS Electric, and DN Automotive. Numerous public enterprises also participated, including the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Korea Expressway Corporation, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Housing Finance Corporation, Korea Asset Management Corporation, and Busan Tourism Organization.
In addition, leading regional companies such as BNK Busan Bank, Hwaseung Group, and Chokwang Paint, as well as Donga University alumni companies like Nexen and Eunsan Shipping & Air, took part in the event.
Jung Minhong, Executive Director of the Talent Competency Enhancement Office at Hwaseung Corporation, said, "As a leading regional company, we are working hard to discover and hire outstanding local talent. Events like this fair are a great help."
The Donga University Student and Talent Development Office organized this fair as part of the University Innovation Support Project to introduce and support outstanding local companies, strengthen employment competencies through meetings with current HR managers, and provide on-site recruitment opportunities.
More than 50 companies and institutions, including public enterprises, conglomerates, and financial institutions highly favored by job seekers, participated in the event. Various event booths were also operated, including overseas employment counseling, English and Korean resume and cover letter consulting, ID photo shoots, makeup, and caricatures, which received a positive response.
Over 2,000 participants, including students from Donga University and Dongseo University (a glocal alliance university), university students in the Busan area, students from specialized high schools, social equity recruitment candidates, self-reliant youth, and general citizens, attended to gain valuable recruitment information.
Lee Sunho, a Donga University graduate who attended the fair, said, "Preparing for employment, interviews and cover letters were always a concern, but consulting with HR managers from companies was very helpful. I am determined to be accepted by my desired company in the second half of this year."
Park Jungwoo, a student in the Department of Fashion Design at Dongseo University, shared, "It was a valuable experience to directly check recruitment information from companies I am interested in."
Donga University President Lee Haewoo stated, "I hope this fair, held on the largest scale in the country, has become a meaningful platform where not only Donga University students but also regional talent and companies can connect."
