Deloitte Consulting Signs MOU with SK AX for 'Digital ESG Transformation'

On September 16, Deloitte Consulting Korea announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SK AX on September 12 at the Seoul International Finance Center in Yeouido, Seoul. The agreement aims to jointly promote an integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) service, covering everything from strategy development to digital execution of ESG management systems.

With the mandatory disclosure of ESG and increasing demands for supply chain risk management, this agreement demonstrates the commitment to provide an 'integrated consulting service' that connects the entire process of corporate ESG transformation, from strategy formulation to execution. The signing ceremony was attended by Jaemin Bae, CEO of Deloitte Consulting, Taeho Park, Partner in Management Consulting at Deloitte Korea, Jinmin Choi, Representative Partner of SK AX Accretive Partners, as well as key partners Hyuksu Jang and Junwon Park.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to provide comprehensive services encompassing the entire ESG transformation process, including: ▲ development of industry-specific ESG strategies ▲ creation of disclosure reports based on domestic and international initiative requirements ▲ establishment of KPI-based management indicators ▲ construction of data-driven ESG execution platforms. In particular, by linking and automating the ESG strategies and KPIs established through consulting with SK AX's 'Click ESG' platform, they will implement an operational model in which strategy is directly translated into execution.

With the recent implementation of the European Union's CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and the strengthening of global disclosure standards, domestic companies are now required to establish quantitative reporting systems that comply with various standards. Data-driven execution capabilities are emerging as a core task for ESG performance management, and in the global market, convergence models that combine consulting and digital platforms are rapidly spreading.

Through this collaboration, domestic companies are expected to generate reports aligned with international standards more efficiently and significantly enhance their ESG disclosure capabilities. In addition, by utilizing the partner diagnostic function within the platform, companies will be able to systematically identify ESG risks throughout their supply chains and establish a foundation for driving improvement activities among their partners.
