On September 12, SK Ecoplant announced that it is currently accepting applications for the "2025 ConTech Meet-Up Day," an open innovation competition focused on artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and semiconductor breakthrough technologies and solutions.
ConTech Meet-Up Day is an open technology innovation competition organized by SK Ecoplant for startups, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. Launched in 2020, this year marks its sixth edition. The competition aims to discover companies with innovative technologies in AI, robotics, and semiconductors, and to support them through joint research and development, financial support, and ultimately commercialization.
The competition is accepting applications in a total of eight categories: ▲Industrial process efficiency (Industry AI) ▲Generative AI ▲AI security ▲Wearable AI ▲Robotics ▲Semiconductors ▲Fuel cells ▲Other fields.
Companies selected as finalists will receive support such as government funding and investment attraction from public, research, and investment institutions participating in the program. They will also conduct joint research and development with SK Ecoplant and its affiliated subsidiaries. Further collaboration will be pursued for technology commercialization and advancement.
Meanwhile, SK Ecoplant is leading joint technology development and cooperation with startups and small and medium-sized enterprises possessing innovative technologies through various open innovation programs, including "ConTech Meet-Up Day," "Tech Open Collaboration," and the "Semiconductor Open Innovation Program."
