Gwangju Bank announced on September 10 that it conducted a voice phishing prevention campaign at the finals venue of the "Gwangju 2025 Hyundai World Archery Championships" together with the Financial Supervisory Service Gwangju Jeonnam Branch.

On the day of the finals, which attracted a large number of domestic and international visitors, Gwangju Bank and the Financial Supervisory Service carried out the campaign to raise awareness among local residents and spectators about the importance of preventing financial fraud and to promote safe financial practices.

At the event, the two organizations operated a promotional booth, providing guidance on voice phishing prevention measures, hosting interactive promotional events, and distributing souvenirs and leaflets to encourage voluntary participation from visitors. They also conducted a street campaign by directly handing out promotional items to spectators, further raising awareness about the dangers of voice phishing.

This campaign centered around the slogan "Voice Phishing 3Go! (Suspect! Call! Check!)," emphasizing practical steps that financial consumers can take to recognize the risks of voice phishing and respond proactively.

Kim Eunho, Vice President of Gwangju Bank, stated, "As voice phishing schemes become increasingly sophisticated and the number of victims rises, we aim to heighten awareness of financial fraud and support the safe financial lives of local residents through this campaign. We will continue our preventive efforts to protect the valuable assets of the community."
