Through this agreement, Wonju City and six other organizations will cooperate to support the digital transformation of small business owners in traditional markets and shopping districts, as well as to revitalize local commercial areas.

The project targets small business owners in Jayu Market, Doraemi Market, and the Culture Street shopping district. They will receive support such as: store promotion and customer engagement through KakaoTalk channels; one-on-one customized training using local supporters; sales support through live commerce; and promotional and event support tailored to each commercial area.

Won Kangsu, Mayor of Wonju, stated, "This agreement will serve as a starting point for traditional markets and shopping districts to make a fresh leap forward by embracing digital transformation in line with changing times," adding, "Wonju City will spare no administrative support to ensure this project achieves the best possible results."
