On this day, Mayor Seong Sangjin met with residents of Imae 1 and 2-dong and Yatap 1, 2, and 3-dong at 10:30 a.m. in the Onnuri Hall at City Hall. At 3:30 p.m., he held discussions with residents of Seohyun 1 and 2-dong and Sunae 1 and 2-dong in the audiovisual room of Seohyun Library.
This event is an empathetic roundtable where the mayor visits the community in person and sits down face-to-face with residents. Mayor Seong Sangjin explains the overall direction of city administration, key current issues, and future visions in an accessible way, while freely listening to residents' opinions and suggestions.
In particular, the sessions address policies with high public impact, such as current issues closely tied to daily life-including transportation, housing, and the environment-customized welfare policies for children, youth, and seniors, and Seongnam-style future strategic projects in areas like smart cities, culture, and education. The subsequent Q&A talk concert allows residents to ask questions freely and receive direct answers from the mayor, creating an interactive dialogue.
The upcoming schedule is as follows: September 8 at 3:00 p.m. with residents of Seongnam-dong, Hadaewon-dong, and Dochon-dong (3rd floor, main conference room, Jungwon District Office); September 9 at 10:30 a.m. with residents of Sinhung 1-dong, Taepyeong 2, 3, and 4-dong, and Sujin 1-dong (B1, Sujeong Community Center); September 11 at 2:00 p.m. with residents of Pangyo-dong, Baekhyeon-dong, Unjung-dong, and Sampyeong-dong (Pangyo Youth Center performance hall); and September 12 at 2:00 p.m. with residents of Sinhung 2 and 3-dong, Dandae-dong, and Yangji-dong (main conference room, Sujeong District Office). The on-site dialogue relay with all 50 districts will conclude with a meeting with residents of Jeongja-dong, Geumgok-dong, and Gumi 1-dong on October 14.

Through this, the city expects to achieve visible outcomes such as resolving residents' inconveniences and addressing livelihood issues, discovering customized policies tailored to regional characteristics, expanding citizen participation and establishing a foundation of trust, and strengthening transparency in the policy decision-making process.
Mayor Seong Sangjin stated, "Seongnam is a leading advanced innovation city in Korea and a region where diverse generations and social groups live together." He added, "This Communication Live is a valuable opportunity to listen directly to citizens' voices and reflect them in policy." He continued, "Going forward, Seongnam City will continue to seek answers alongside citizens and create the future together."
