Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces 261 Successful Candidates for Local Government Official Appointments

On September 5, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the final list of 261 successful candidates for the 'Open Competitive Recruitment Examination for Local Government Officials.'


The number of successful candidates by field is as follows: 216 in educational administration, 5 in information technology, 14 in library science, 4 in engineering (general electricity), 5 in food hygiene, 16 in facilities (3 in general civil engineering and 13 in architecture), and 1 in record research.


Among the final successful candidates, those in their 20s accounted for the largest proportion at 57.1%. This was followed by those in their 30s at 37.2% (97 people), those aged 40 and above at 5.3% (14 people), and those in their teens at 0.4% (1 person). The average age of successful candidates is 29.

According to the registration announcement for successful candidates, each candidate must visit in person to complete the registration process. Candidates who took the exam in Suwon should visit the registration site on September 11, and those who took the exam in Uijeongbu should visit on September 12, bringing their ID and registration documents.


If there are no disqualifying reasons, candidates will sequentially receive new appointments after completing the basic training for appointees starting in December.
