Minimum CSAT Achievement Standards Apply for Key Tracks
Duksung Women's University will admit 784 students through its early admission process for the 2026 academic year. In this round, the university has newly established the College of Pharmacy in the essay-based admission track, selecting 5 students solely based on essay test scores.
Looking at the details by admission type, the comprehensive student record screening includes 111 students for the Duksung Talent Track I, 214 for the Duksung Talent Track II, and 15 for the Opportunity Balance Track II_Social Integration. For special quotas, the university will admit 12 students from specialized high schools, 37 rural students, 14 recipients of basic living subsidies, and 5 students with disabilities or similar backgrounds, totaling 408 students. Among these, applicants for the Duksung Talent Track II and the Opportunity Balance Track I_Disabilities or Similar Backgrounds will be shortlisted at a ratio of three to four times the number of available spots in the first stage based 100% on document screening. In the second stage, final candidates will be selected based on a combined score of 60% from the first-stage document review and 40% from the interview. The other five comprehensive student record tracks will select successful applicants solely based on 100% document screening.
The student record-based academic achievement track will admit 175 students through the High School Recommendation Track and 25 through the Opportunity Balance Track I_Social Integration, for a total of 200 students. Both tracks select successful applicants based entirely on academic records from high school. The High School Recommendation Track requires a recommendation from the principal, and there is no limit to the number of recommendations per school. For the Opportunity Balance Track I_Social Integration, if it is not possible to calculate a student's academic ranking solely from the student record, a comparative ranking will be applied.
The essay-based track will admit 120 students, including those for the College of Pharmacy, with 100% of the evaluation based on the essay test. For the College of Pharmacy, the essay test consists of three questions (with up to three sub-questions) drawn from common subjects: Mathematics, Mathematics I, Mathematics II, and Calculus. The College of Global Convergence will have two questions utilizing topics or themes from textbooks as much as possible, while the College of Science and Technology will maintain its policy of creating two questions (with up to three sub-questions) from Mathematics, Mathematics I, and Mathematics II.
The High School Recommendation Track and the essay-based track apply the minimum academic achievement standard from the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). For the College of Global Convergence, College of Science and Technology, and College of Future Talent, the sum of grades from two subject areas among Korean, English, Mathematics, and Inquiry (Social/Science, best single subject) must be 7 or less. For the College of Pharmacy, the sum of grades from three subject areas, including Mathematics, among Korean, English, Mathematics, and Inquiry (best Science subject), must be 5 or less.
