Daewoo Construction announced on September 1 that it is introducing a new scholarship program for the children of employees at its partner companies. The company will select 50 outstanding partners in both the first and second half of the year, based on site management, quality, and safety evaluations, and provide scholarships to them. Eligible recipients are employees who have worked at a partner company for more than three years and have children currently attending elementary, middle, or high school. These employees will be chosen through internal recommendations from their companies.
The company is also launching a gift program to celebrate the birth of children of partner company employees. Eligible recipients are employees of small and medium-sized partner companies that are officially registered and have ongoing contracts as of the application date. For each newborn, a gift worth 500,000 won will be provided. These support programs are part of Daewoo Construction's shared growth management policy, aimed at establishing a sustainable system of mutual cooperation.
Daewoo Construction operates a shared growth fund worth 14 billion won and offers incentives to outstanding partners, such as contract priority and deposit reductions. A company representative stated, "We will continue to provide practical support in various areas, including finance, education, and welfare."
