Final Determination and Public Announcement on October 30
As of July 1, 2025, Gangneung City in Gangwon Province has completed the calculation of individual official land prices and verification by certified appraisers. From the 1st to the 22nd, the city will allow public viewing of the draft individual official land prices and accept opinions from landowners and interested parties.
The properties subject to this review are those that underwent land movement events such as division, merger, or land category change between January 1 and June 30, 2025. The price per square meter for these properties can be viewed at the City Hall Land Administration Division, local town and township community centers, and the Real Estate Price Information Service.
Landowners and interested parties who have opinions regarding the draft individual official land prices can download the opinion submission form from the Gangneung City website during the designated period. After completing the form, they may submit it in person at the City Hall Land Administration Division or local community centers, or send it by mail.
For land parcels with submitted opinions, the city will re-examine the land characteristics and re-investigate whether the prices are balanced with the standard land prices and those of neighboring parcels. After review by the Gangneung City Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee, the results will be notified to those who submitted opinions. The final individual official land prices as of July 1, 2025, are scheduled to be determined and publicly announced on October 30.
Lee Daejae, head of the Land Administration Division, stated, "The individual official land price is an important reference for the imposition of national and local taxes, as well as various charges," and added, "We hope that landowners and citizens will take a keen interest and review the information thoroughly."
