The results of this survey are significant as they indicate that Korean home appliance companies are strengthening their dominance in India, a massive market with a population of 1.4 billion. Industry experts note that India, with its population of 1.4 billion, has strong domestic potential and a high preference for new technologies. As of last year, the Indian TV market reached 11.29 million units.

Among Samsung Electronics' products, the premium TV lineup received positive responses, including the Neo QLED 8K equipped with a third-generation artificial intelligence (AI) 8K processor, and the 2025 Neo QLED and OLED models featuring anti-glare technology.

Samsung Electronics is leading the large and premium TV market in India through locally tailored campaigns and continues to provide India-specific services. Samsung TV Plus offers over 100 Indian local channels in 14 languages, including news, movies, music, and dramas, and also provides K-content and major global content. To cater to India's strong demand for education, Samsung has been offering educational content on Samsung Smart TVs since 2023.

LG Electronics is also expanding its market presence, focusing on its premium OLED TV lineup. The company is expanding content available through LG Channel, its advertising-based free streaming (FAST) service, as well as webOS. Since entering the Indian content market in September 2023, LG Channel has been providing content in 10 regional languages, including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, and Tamil, to cater to India's multilingual audience.
