SKT Partners with "Vips," KT with "Cirque du Soleil" as Both Enhance Membership Benefits for September

A Closer Look at Discount Benefits Offered by Both Companies

SK Telecom and KT have enhanced their membership benefits for September.


SK Telecom, which is currently running its T Membership Customer Appreciation Festival, has selected the dining brand "Vips" as its first September partner. Vips will offer a 50% discount to weekday visitors, up to a maximum of 100,000 won within a purchase limit of 200,000 won. Coupons can be downloaded from the T Membership application from September 1 to 10. The coupons are valid for use from September 1 through October 31. Customers can enjoy the partnership benefits more conveniently by making a reservation in advance.

The September T Day will provide exceptional discounts across various categories such as dining, shopping, and outings. On September 3, T Day will feature an open-run coupon event, offering a total of 200,000 cups of Compose Coffee iced Americano on a first-come, first-served basis.


During the T Day Week, held from September 1 to 5, SK Telecom will support affordable dining with discounts such as 50% off The Venti iced Americano, 7,000 won off Baemin X Cheogajip, 50% off online butcher Meat Project, as well as a buy-one-get-one-free (1+1) event for Baekmidang ice cream.


The T Membership Happy Hour, which offers discounts for visiting during specific hours throughout the month, will be available at three locations: Shake Shack, Baekmidang, and Baskin Robbins.


For "0 (Young)" customers aged 13 to 34, "0 Day" will feature various cultural event discounts and giveaways. These include free invitations for 100 people to the musical "The Great Gatsby," 10,000 free invitation tickets to the D Museum’s "Taste House 2," and a 25% discount on tickets for the "Animeju and Ghibli Exhibition."


KT has focused on providing tailored benefits that can be felt in everyday life. "K-Mempe," which KT introduced for the first time this month, has quickly gained popularity, surpassing 1 million uses in just one month.


Looking at the September K-Mempe benefits, the cultural sector includes invitations to the popular Cirque du Soleil show "Kooza" (200 people) and a preview screening of the movie "Eojjeolsugaeopda" (10,000 people). For dining, popular brands such as Baemin X Hosigi Two Chicken, Saladey, Puradak, and Mad for Garlic will offer discounts of up to 50%.


KT will also extend benefits that received high customer satisfaction in August through the end of September. These include free coupons for Olive Young, Daiso, Naver Pay, and Starbucks, up to 75% off at the membership-exclusive commerce "Shopping Lounge," and free coupons for coffee and movies. The September "Sweet Benefits," which will be available starting September 15, are designed for travel and outings during the autumn season.


The Y Benefits for customers aged 34 and under include a MegaBox "Space Dust" body pillow (100 people) and a 60% discount coupon for Lotte Rent-a-Car G Car. There will also be a 6,000 won discount on mobile payments, Starbucks size-up coupons for 10,000 people, and 5,000 won Daiso vouchers for the first 2,000 customers.
