Air Busan, led by CEO Jung Byungseop, marked its 18th anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to "safety first" together with all executives and employees, renewing its determination for future growth.

During the event, more than 130 employees, including long-serving staff and outstanding employees, received awards. In addition, plaques and prizes were presented to employees who dedicated themselves to responding to an in-flight fire in January, as a gesture of gratitude.
In his commemorative address, CEO Jung Byungseop expressed his appreciation for the dedication of employees over the past 18 years and highlighted three core values: safe operation, industrial safety, and information security.
CEO Jung emphasized, "Safe operation is our foundation and starting point," calling for company-wide efforts to identify and address risk factors and to establish a culture of voluntary reporting. He also stated, "Industrial safety is a promise to ourselves, our colleagues, and ultimately our families," stressing the importance of adhering to on-site safety regulations. Regarding information security, he said, "It is a matter of trust with our customers," urging employees to maintain a thorough awareness of security.
Last year, Air Busan achieved record results by launching the first direct Busan-Bali route from Gimhae Airport and surpassing 1 trillion won in revenue.
In particular, the company has maintained the top market share at Gimhae Airport for 11 consecutive years and achieved the highest score among domestic airlines in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Air Traffic Service Evaluation, continuing its strong performance in both safety and service quality.
