Buan County to Hold 4th Youth Festival on September 5

Buan County in North Jeolla Province will hold the 4th Buan Youth Festival on September 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Natural Energy Park Plaza in front of the county office.

According to the county on August 29, this year’s youth festival will be held under the theme "Light Up Buan B:ON," and will feature a variety of programs designed for young people to enjoy and participate in directly.

The event will include performances, EDM, invited singer stages, youth policy promotion booths, a youth PR microphone, interactive quiz events, experience zones, and photo zones, all designed to highlight young people as the main protagonists of the festival.

In particular, the beer party, which received an enthusiastic response last year, will return this year. With age verification upon entry, young adults will be able to enjoy a special and liberating experience. To prevent traffic congestion and drunk driving, visitors to the festival are encouraged to walk to the venue whenever possible.

Additionally, the festival aims to be eco-friendly by using reusable containers, and a variety of food and experience booths will be available to enhance the enjoyment of the event. The festival will showcase a sustainable festival model created together with young people.

County Governor Kwon Ikhyun stated, "This will be a day where young people take center stage, and Buan’s night will shine brightly with their passion and energy. We have prepared this festival so that many young people can come together and have fun, and I hope everyone creates special memories at the youth festival."
