Located in the Hanyang University ERICA Campus Innovation Park, the KTC serves as the research and development (R&D) center of Integris, a global company specializing in materials and components for semiconductor processes.
This meeting was organized to directly introduce the recently revised 'Ansan City Investment Promotion Ordinance' on July 16 and to listen to the current status and requests of the companies.
The revised ordinance expands support to domestic and international companies, research institutes, and overseas schools; provides subsidies for a certain percentage of investment amounts up to a maximum of 500 million won; offers employment and training subsidies based on the number of regular employees; includes reductions in water utility fees; and supports consulting costs and infrastructure.
Mayor Lee explained, "This ordinance revision is not merely a regulatory update, but a promise to grow together with companies and transform Ansan into a city that leads future industries."
He added, "We will actively support advanced industry companies like Integris so they can settle stably in Ansan and strengthen their future growth engines."
The city plans to continue on-site communication meetings with major companies, starting with this visit to Integris. Through these meetings, the city aims to promptly address corporate difficulties and create a virtuous cycle of investment promotion, job creation, and regional economic revitalization.
