On Tuesday, the 26th, the entire country is expected to remain mostly cloudy, with rain that began the previous day continuing throughout the day.

[Weather for Tomorrow] Rain Continues but Heat Persists... Daytime Highs Up to 34 Degrees On the 16th, when the monsoon rain began in earnest in Seoul and the central region, citizens were walking with umbrellas near the Gangnam Station intersection in Seoul. The expected precipitation for the 26th is as follows: 30 to 80 mm in the metropolitan area (with some areas receiving over 100 mm), 20 to 60 mm in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, Chungcheong, and Jeolla regions (with some areas receiving over 80 mm), 5 to 30 mm in the Gyeongsang region, and around 5 mm along the east coast of Gangwon. Jeju Island is forecast to receive 5 to 40 mm of rain between the 26th and 27th.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "As heavy rain may fall in a short period of time, please refrain from using riverside walking paths and underpasses, and take precautions against flooding in low-lying areas and river overflows."

Even with the rain, the heat is not expected to subside easily. The daytime high in Daegu is forecast to reach 34 degrees Celsius, and the hot weather will continue nationwide. Morning lows are expected to range from 23 to 28 degrees, while daytime highs will be between 29 and 34 degrees.

Heat wave advisories remain in effect for the east coast of Gangwon, some southern regions, and Jeju Island. For the time being, the apparent temperature will hover around 33 degrees Celsius, making it feel very hot. Tropical nights may occur, especially in urban and coastal areas, so special attention to health is advised.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' levels across all regions, thanks to smooth air circulation and the effects of precipitation.

Wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. In offshore areas, waves are expected to reach 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
