At this year's Clean Show, LG Electronics is exhibiting a wide range of its commercial laundry appliance lineup, from the large-capacity "LG Professional" to small-capacity drum washers and dryers, as well as top-load washers. The LG Professional washer is equipped with AI technology that analyzes laundry loads and sets the optimal washing and drying courses. It precisely detects the vibration and rotation of the drum, reducing washing time even for large loads by optimizing movement. The dryer features a low-temperature dehumidifying inverter heat pump, which is more energy-efficient and less damaging to fabrics compared to traditional heater-based systems.
LG Electronics plans to expand the LG Professional, which was first launched in the Korean market this year, to North America and Europe within the year. Following last year's supply of commercial washers to Wash, the second-largest laundry solutions company in the US, LG Electronics has achieved another milestone this year by supplying commercial washers to CSC ServiceWorks, the top laundry solutions company in the US.
The company also introduced "Laundry Crew," an app dedicated to commercial laundry appliances. In addition to remote device control, Laundry Crew offers various features such as error notifications and smart diagnostics, enhancing energy efficiency and management convenience. Recently, LG Electronics updated the app with a multinational payment module and improved the user interface (UI).
LG Electronics aims to accelerate the expansion of its global commercial laundry appliance business by increasing its touchpoints not only with specialized laundry solution companies but also with B2B customers across various industries.
