The S-OIL Ulsan Plant has donated goods worth approximately 80 million won, produced at a standard workplace for people with disabilities, to the local community.
On August 24, S-OIL Ulsan Plant announced that on the 22nd, it had purchased goods worth 83 million won produced by the standard workplace for people with disabilities, Bravo Beaver, and donated them to the Ulsan Metropolitan City Social Welfare Council (Chairman Oh Segul).
The items purchased by S-OIL include stationery sets, cookie sets, and health teas, and will be delivered monthly to local children's centers, welfare centers, and residential facilities for people with disabilities, as recommended by the Ulsan Social Welfare Council. In August, they will be delivered to 10 social welfare facilities in the Onsan area.
To contribute to job creation for people with disabilities, S-OIL made an equity investment in the standard workplace for people with disabilities, Bravo Beaver, in September 2024. S-OIL purchased goods such as stationery sets, cookie sets, and health teas produced directly by people with disabilities affiliated with Bravo Beaver, and donated them to welfare facilities in the Seoul area in the first half of 2025. In the second half of the year, donations will be made to welfare facilities in the Ulsan area.
Park Sunghoon, Executive Director at S-OIL, stated, "This initiative goes beyond simply purchasing and delivering goods; it is also intended to create jobs for people with disabilities and promote sharing within the local community. S-OIL is committed to supporting neighbors in need in the region."
