Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Chae Chung Lim) announced on August 22 that the Korea Tax Association (President Koo Jae Lee) had donated approximately 240 million won to support neighbors affected by flooding. This donation was raised through a fundraising campaign conducted by the Korea Tax Association among all its members from July 30 to August 11, with about 1,700 members participating.

Koo Jae Lee, President of the Korea Tax Association, stated, "Our members united with the hope that this support would provide strength to neighbors who suffered from unexpected heavy rainfall," adding, "I hope the warmth collected by our members will, even in a small way, help those affected return to their daily lives."

The Korea Tax Association also donated 200 million won to Hope Bridge in March, when members contributed funds to support those affected by a large-scale wildfire disaster. Including this latest donation, the cumulative amount the Korea Tax Association has contributed to Hope Bridge for major disaster relief efforts, such as flood and wildfire response, now totals approximately 560 million won.

Hope Bridge and the Korea Tax Association signed a business agreement in February to establish a cooperative framework for disaster relief and the promotion of a culture of sharing. Through this, members are fulfilling their social responsibilities by not only donating to disaster relief funds but also participating in Hope Bridge's regular donation campaign, "Hope Store." Furthermore, Hope Bridge and the Korea Tax Association plan to expand pro bono activities for the public, such as providing tax consultations for disaster victims, through mutual cooperation.
