Donga University (President Lee Haewoo) held the "2024 Academic Year Second Semester Graduate School Master's and Doctoral Degree Conferment Ceremony" at Daw Hall on the Bumin Campus on August 21, conferring degrees to a total of 300 graduates, including 50 doctoral and 250 master's degree recipients.

The event was attended by President Lee Haewoo, Graduate School Dean Song Gangjik, Graduate School of International Studies Dean Shin Donggyu, Graduate School of Education Dean Cho Gyupan, Graduate School of Social Welfare Dean Yoon Sangwoo, and Graduate School of Law Chief Professor Jang Byeongil, among others.
Graduates received their diplomas on stage, accompanied by their department representatives or academic advisors.
The "Outstanding Research Award," given to students with exceptional academic and research achievements, was presented to: Dr. Yoon Hyemin (Department of Management Information Systems), Dr. Hussein Yasar (Department of Chemical Engineering), Dr. Park Nayoung (Department of Translational Medicine), and Master Tanya (Department of Translational Medicine).
The "Challenger Award," given to students recognized for their passion and potential, was awarded to: Dr. Chai Yanggan (Department of Law), Dr. Rey Zalbuena (Department of ICT Convergence Marine Smart City Engineering), Master Kim Minje (Graduate School of Education, Educational Psychology and Counseling), and Master Lee Soyoung (Graduate School of Social Welfare, Health Administration).
President Lee Haewoo stated, "Our graduates have acquired the capabilities to contribute to society as researchers based on the knowledge they have gained," and added, "In an era that demands expertise and originality, I hope you continue rigorous self-management and relentless advancement."
