Gachon University held the "2024 Academic Year Second Semester Graduation Ceremony" on the 21st at Yeum Hall. A total of 1,740 graduates received their degrees at the ceremony, including 73 doctoral, 493 master's, and 1,174 bachelor's degrees.
Inseong Koo (23) from the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Juseong Park (25) from the School of Art and Design (Design) received the President's Award and the Alumni Association President's Award, respectively. In addition, 16 students, including Manyeon Hwang (56), a doctoral candidate in Real Estate Policy at the Graduate School, and Hyeji Kim (female, 31), a master's candidate in Oncology Nursing at the Graduate School of Nursing, received the President's Award.

In her congratulatory address titled "Let's Develop Ourselves to Lead in the AI Era," Gachon University President Lee Gil-ya stated, "Now, the world asks not 'Which school did you graduate from?' but 'What problems can you solve?'" She emphasized, "You must continuously learn to understand AI better than others and make it a part of your abilities, and develop the power to solve problems."
She continued, "The diploma from Gachon University is engraved with the courage to not fear change, the spirit of a Gachon person who pioneers new paths, and the promise to become someone indispensable to the world." She urged, "I hope you will make your name known to the world, not as someone who waits for the future, but as someone who creates it, with the DNA of challenge and innovation you learned at Gachon University."
