Gwangju Urban Corporation Recruiting Tenants for Sinchang and Hanam Public Rental Housing

Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on the 20th that it is recruiting preliminary tenants for two public rental housing complexes: Sinchang Urban Corporation Apartment and Hanam 2 District Dasaroum 1 Complex Apartment.

Public rental housing is a long-term public rental program for low-income households without homes, allowing residents to pay rent at 60% to 80% of the market rate and renew their contracts every two years, for up to 30 years.

Due to large-scale renovation work scheduled for vacated units in the second half of this year, the corporation is recruiting 50 preliminary tenants for Sinchang and 170 for Hanam. Those selected as preliminary tenants are highly likely to move in within this year, which is expected to help alleviate the local housing shortage.

Applications can be submitted in person at the first floor of the Gwangju Urban Corporation from September 2 to 5, or by registered mail.
