Umi Construction to Launch Sales of "Osan Segyo Umirin Lake City" in September

Large-Scale Complex with 1,424 Units
Primarily Mid- to Large-Sized Apartments

Umi Construction announced on August 20 that it will begin sales next month for "Osan Segyo Umirin Lake City," a new development in the Seo 2 District of Osan, Gyeonggi Province.


This large-scale complex will be located at the center of the Segyo 2 and 3 District developments and will primarily consist of mid- to large-sized units, which are rare in the area. The complex, situated in the Seodong area of Osan, will feature 10 buildings ranging from three basement levels to 29 floors above ground. A total of 1,424 units will be supplied: 1,077 units at 84 square meters, 182 units at 94 square meters, and 165 units at 101 square meters.


Upon completion, the Segyo 1, 2, and 3 Districts are expected to accommodate 66,000 households and a population of 150,000. The Segyo 3 District is being developed as a "self-sustaining connect city" that will serve as a support area for the metropolitan semiconductor cluster, featuring research and development (R&D) and business functions.

The transportation network is also being improved. In addition to the currently operating Line 1 Osan Station, plans are underway for the GTX-C line, the Dongtan Urban Railway (tram), and the extension of the Bundang Line. Gasu Elementary School is located nearby, allowing students to walk to school, while residents will be able to enjoy views of Gagami Mountain to the east and the planned Seodong Reservoir Waterfront Park to the west.


The complex will feature an indoor swimming pool with a children's pool, which is rare in Osan, as well as a sky lounge and guesthouse with views of Seodong Reservoir. Additional community amenities include an indoor golf practice range, fitness center, cafe lounge, small library, and study rooms. The design features a car-free ground level and provides approximately 1.5 parking spaces per household.


A representative from the sales team stated, "As this is a private land supply complex, the resale restriction period is only six months, which is attracting significant interest from both end-users and investors."


The model home will be located in the Sancheok-dong area of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
