Mayor Dongshik Park Holds Meeting with Neighborhood Leaders to Strengthen Communication

A Dialogue Session with Leaders from 14 Towns and Districts
Strengthening Two-Way Communication for Community Harmony and Regional Development

Dongshik Park, Mayor of Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province, held a dialogue session to strengthen two-way communication with the leaders of neighborhood associations who are dedicated to fostering community harmony and regional development at the forefront of local administration.

Mayor Park hosted the "2025 Meeting with the Leaders of Neighborhood Associations" at the Civil Defense Education Center in City Hall, engaging in open and candid communication with the leaders from 14 towns and districts.

Approximately 50 people attended the meeting, including Yudongyeon, President of the Sacheon City Branch of the Neighborhood Association, as well as the heads of the neighborhood and village leaders' associations. The event proceeded with explanations of key municipal issues and listening to suggestions from the participants.

In particular, this meeting served as a platform for communication to build public consensus on future policy directions and to reaffirm the roles of these leaders as true volunteers and opinion leaders in the community.

During the meeting, the leaders shared their experiences and discussed various cases they had encountered while carrying out their duties on the administrative frontlines, openly exchanging ideas and seeking ways to improve.

President Yudongyeon stated, "I would like to thank the Mayor for arranging this meaningful opportunity for communication. We, as neighborhood leaders, will work together to solidify Sacheon City's position as the aerospace capital of Korea."
