The Dobong Police Station in Seoul announced on the 19th that they had brought in a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, who claimed to have set fire to his own apartment.

According to the police and fire authorities, at around 11:10 p.m. on the 18th, a fire broke out in a residential unit of an apartment in Ssangmun-dong, leading to the evacuation of approximately 170 residents. Three people inhaled smoke and received treatment at the scene.
