On August 18, the Seoul Police YouTube channel released a video titled, "The Day They Marked 10 Years as Police Officers... The Reason They Rushed Out During Dinner." The video begins with a scene of several robust men entering a restaurant in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the evening of July 24. As they enter, they greet each other with "Loyalty!" and exchange salutes, showing their strong camaraderie.

Sergeant Yongjin Jung of the Suseo Police Station in Seoul immediately began performing CPR, while his colleagues called emergency services (119) and secured the airway. Sergeant Hansol Cho and Sergeant Huseong Lee, also from the same station, and Lieutenant Duseong Kwon from the Wonju Police Station in Gangwon Province, assisted in the rescue. During this process, Sergeant Heemok Jung of the Jungnang Police Station in Seoul ran to a nearby subway station, jumped over the ticket gate, and quickly returned with an automated external defibrillator (AED), which he promptly used at the scene.

Thanks to their coordinated response, the elderly citizen regained consciousness and breathing before the ambulance arrived, and was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he reportedly made a full recovery.
