Gwangju Bank announced on August 18 that it conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training for local residents and employees this year in connection with the Eulji Exercise, aiming to help save precious lives in emergency situations.

This training was designed to provide hands-on CPR practice, which is a critical first response in unexpected emergencies that may occur at work, at home, or in everyday life. The sessions utilized the latest mannequins modeled after the human body. The curriculum included both practical and theoretical components, covering the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), CPR practice, and the Heimlich maneuver for treating airway obstruction.

Gwangju Bank conducts CPR training every year as part of the Eulji Exercise and security guard training programs. The bank also enhances emergency response capabilities by commissioning advanced CPR courses for its headquarters security guards through external professional institutions.

This CPR training, which runs until August 20, is open to any local resident who wishes to participate.

Son Heedae, Head of the Safety Management Department, stated, "We organized this training to actively participate in the nationwide Eulji Exercise," and added, "We hope this program will help participants remain calm and contribute to saving precious lives when faced with real emergencies."
