Ulju County operated promotional booths for six companies through a specialized trade office: Kangdaegam C&F (sundae), Donga Food (gamjatang), Ballena Six (coffee), BB Food (soy sauce), Eonyang Traditional Food (doenjang and gochujang), and Jang An Fermentation (rice yogurt). The participating companies engaged with buyers from Hong Kong and other Asian countries through tastings, consultations, and sample distribution, drawing significant attention in the fields of traditional fermented foods, premium coffee, and ready-to-eat meals.
As a result, they achieved 71 buyer consultations, signed 5 MOUs, and secured 2 on-site contracts.
A representative from one of the participating companies stated, "Thanks to the support from Ulju County, we were able to meet global buyers in person and promote our products," adding, "We will do our best to ensure these meetings lead to export contracts in the future."
An Ulju County official emphasized, "Through this expo, we have confirmed the potential for local food companies to enter overseas markets," and added, "We will actively support SMEs in their global expansion by assisting with participation in overseas exhibitions and strengthening export capabilities."
