Approximately 10 employee volunteers, including Nam Youngkyu, Director of External Cooperation at Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, participated in the event. Using employee donations, they purchased food items worth a total of 2 million won, which were then delivered to 20 vulnerable households in Jangan-eup and Ilgwang-eup through the Gijang-gun Volunteer Center (headed by Heo Choonja).
The 'Traditional Market Shopping Campaign' is one of Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters' key social contribution initiatives. It is held multiple times each year to support both the local economy and vulnerable groups. This year, the campaign will take place once a month from August to November.
Nam Youngkyu, Director of External Cooperation at Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "I hope this shopping event will help our neighbors in need and inject new energy into the local traditional market," adding, "Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters will continue to make ongoing efforts to improve community welfare."
