Introducing High-Quality Ready-to-Eat Meals Through Diverse Collaborations
"Today's Bonus!" Promotion Offers Extra Toppings
On August 12, Seven Eleven announced that it will launch a total of seven "Chongdongwon Ready-to-Eat Meal Series" products in collaboration with Dongwon F&B as part of its strategy to differentiate its ready-to-eat meal offerings.
As more people are turning to convenience store ready-to-eat meals for their meals due to the burden of rising restaurant prices, the company plans to introduce a variety of unique, high-quality ready-to-eat meals through various collaborations.

This new ready-to-eat meal lineup from Seven Eleven will be launched alongside the "Today's Bonus!" promotion, which focuses on enhancing the intrinsic value of the products. Unlike typical promotions that offer additional benefits such as discounts or giveaways, this campaign adds extra value directly to the products themselves.
Seven Eleven is releasing the following products: "Grilly Charcoal Frank & Spicy Pork Lunchbox" (5,500 KRW), "Bigger Spicy Tuna Kimchi Triangle Gimbap" (1,700 KRW), and "Grilly Charcoal Sausage Gimbap" (3,200 KRW). The "Grilly Charcoal Frank & Spicy Pork Lunchbox" features Dongwon F&B's signature Grilly Charcoal Frank Sausage and shredded cheese atop a sweet and spicy stir-fried pork, complemented by nine different side dishes including Richam, Donggeurangttaeng, and fried dumplings. As part of the "Today's Bonus!" promotion, an additional piece of Grilly Charcoal Frank Sausage will be included until August 26.
The "Bigger Spicy Tuna Kimchi Triangle Gimbap" is made using Dongwon's signature spicy tuna, combined with tangy stir-fried kimchi for a rich umami flavor. As a "Today's Bonus!", a half-slice of Richam is added for extra substance. The "Grilly Charcoal Sausage Gimbap" features Grilly Charcoal Sausage and egg strips mixed with mayonnaise, along with burdock root and carrots for a crunchy texture.
On August 13, the "Spicy Tuna Kimchi Inari Sushi" (3,500 KRW) will be released, followed by the "Whole Grilled Tuna Hot Dog" (3,700 KRW) on August 19, and both the "Grilly Charcoal Sausage Pasta" (4,900 KRW) and "Yogurt Tuna Sandwich" (3,200 KRW) on August 20.
The "Spicy Tuna Kimchi Inari Sushi" combines spicy tuna and stir-fried kimchi for enhanced umami, and until August 27, an extra topping will be added to the standard inari sushi as part of the "Today's Bonus!" promotion. The "Whole Grilled Tuna Hot Dog" features Dongwon's extra-long whole grilled Bockwurst sausage as the main ingredient, longer than the bun itself, and is complemented by tuna salad, cucumber pickles, and mayonnaise sauce, making it a convenient meal replacement. As a "Today's Bonus!", an additional 15g of tuna salad will be included as a topping until September 2.
The "Grilly Charcoal Sausage Pasta" consists of pasta with a tomato sauce base, topped with cream cheese mayonnaise sauce and a whole Grilly Charcoal Frank Sausage for a hearty meal. The "Yogurt Tuna Sandwich" uses a salad made with Dongwon tuna and yogurt cream cheese, offering a healthier and fresher alternative to traditional tuna mayo sandwiches.
Seven Eleven is also running various ready-to-eat meal discount promotions. For the four "Over the Limit Ready-to-Eat Meals" launched last month, customers can enjoy a 20% discount throughout August when paying with KakaoPay Money or NongHyup Card, and until August 15, a Chunsik Marine Deep Sea Water (bottled water) will be given with the purchase of these products.
Lim Iseon, Head of the Food Team at Seven Eleven, stated, "While convenience store ready-to-eat meals are gaining attention as an alternative due to the burden of rising restaurant prices, differentiation has become an essential survival strategy amid the diversification of food channels. We will continue to strengthen the competitiveness of the convenience store ready-to-eat meal market and enhance customer satisfaction through various collaborations."
