SM Entertainment announced on the 11th that it had successfully concluded the 'SM Town Live 2025' (SMTOWN LIVE 2025) Tokyo Dome concert, held on August 9 and 10 to commemorate its 30th anniversary, with all seats sold out.


This concert was part of SM's 30th anniversary global tour and also marked the 15th year of 'SM Town Live' performances in Japan. A total of 95,000 people attended over the two days, bringing the cumulative number of Tokyo Dome concertgoers to over 1.1 million. The concert on the 9th was broadcast live in cinemas across 10 regions, including Korea and Japan, while the concert on the 10th was streamed live via Beyond Live and Japan's KNTV.


Major Japanese media outlets attended the press conference held on the 9th. Kangta stated, "I am proud of the SM junior artists who have contributed to the rise of K-pop so far, and I look forward to what lies ahead. This 30th anniversary marks a new beginning for SM."


The stage featured SM artists including Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Zhou Mi, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, SHINee's Key and Minho, EXO's Suho, Chanyeol, and Kai, Red Velvet's Irene, Seulgi, and Joy, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Heart2Heart, and Seunghan&SOUL, who performed for over four hours.


Performances included TVXQ's "Rising Sun," Super Junior's "Express Mode," Red Velvet's "Red Flavor," NCT 127's "Fact Check," aespa's "Dirty Work," RIIZE's "Fly Up," NCT WISH's "Steady," and Heart2Heart's "STYLE," among others.


Special stages and collaborative performances were also presented, such as Key's first-ever performance of "HUNTER," TVXQ's Japanese version of "MIROTIC," and NCT WISH's Japanese version of "poppop."


At the end of the concert, all performers gathered on stage to sing "Hope from KWANGYA" together with the audience. A video was then shown to announce the upcoming 'SM Town Live' concert in Fukuoka in 2026.
