Up to 45 Million Won in Rental Support for Companies Relocating to Sejong Tech Valley

To attract businesses, companies in advanced industries that relocate to Sejong Tech Valley will receive up to 45 million won in support for rental fees and construction costs.

According to Sejong City and Technopark on August 10, applications are being accepted for the Advanced Enterprise Relocation Rental Support Program. The city has decided to partially subsidize rental fees and construction costs to help advanced companies relocate smoothly and to vitalize Sejong Tech Valley.

Eligible companies are headquarters, factories, or research institutes of small and medium-sized enterprises in the city's 5+1 future strategic industries (information security, future mobility, digital content, digital healthcare, broadcasting and media, quantum) that are relocating from outside Sejong to Tech Valley.

The city will provide 20 million won per year in rental support for two years, totaling 40 million won, and will also offer a one-time subsidy of up to 5 million won for interior construction costs to set up offices. In addition to rental support, companies may receive a rent-free benefit from the landlord, covering a total of six months' rent over a two-year contract period.

However, to receive both the rental support and the rent-free benefit, companies must sign a lease contract for a total of four years, including a mandatory two-year occupancy period.
