Haenam Technical High School aims to specialize in the regional strategic industry field. While maintaining the existing Department of Electrical Engineering, the school will significantly improve its curriculum to nurture professionals such as renewable energy management specialists, smart maintenance engineers for electric vehicle charging facilities, and power system engineers.

Jeonnam Health High School will restructure its existing Department of Medical Electronics into the "Department of Electrical System Control." The school plans to produce key talent in the advanced electrical industry by training personnel in the maintenance of electrical and electronic facilities, as well as the production and maintenance of automatic control systems.

Mokpo Jungang High School will reorganize its Department of Broadcasting and Video into the "Department of Digital Video," with the goal of fostering specialists in the digital media field, including special effects technicians, UX/UI designers, advertising and video content creators, and video production engineers.

Yeosu Technical High School will change its existing Department of Drone Spatial Information to the "Department of Spatial Information Mobility." The school plans to nurture future talent in new technologies, such as spatial information image processors, aerial photogrammetry technicians, data analysts, ultralight aircraft operators, and aviation network engineers.

The four schools selected this year will each receive a budget of 375 million won per class, totaling 2.62 billion won. With support from the Ministry of Education and the Office of Education, they will actively promote departmental restructuring through curriculum consulting, improvements to practice room environments, and teacher capacity-building training.

Jeon Seonga, Director of Career Education, stated, "With this selection, the restructuring of departments at vocational high schools in the province to proactively respond to changes in local industries will gain further momentum," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of vocational high schools in the province."
