Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on August 7 that it has launched three single-ingredient health functional foods under the Selparex Basic Line.
The new products consist of three types: Selparex Lutein Zeaxanthin, Selparex rTG Omega-3, and Selparex Plant-Based rTG Omega-3.
Recently, more consumers are selectively choosing health functional foods tailored to their individual health conditions and lifestyles. In response to this trend, Dong-A Pharmaceutical is introducing the Selparex Basic Line, a range of single-ingredient health functional foods containing only essential ingredients, at a reasonable price.
Selparex Lutein Zeaxanthin uses marigold extract containing lutein and zeaxanthin as its main ingredient, which can help maintain macular pigment density that may decrease with aging, thereby supporting eye health. It also features ultra-small plant-based capsules that make it easier to swallow, enhancing convenience.
Selparex rTG Omega-3 contains 600mg of EPA and DHA, as well as vitamin E, which helps with antioxidant activity. This product can help improve blood triglyceride levels and blood circulation. In particular, it uses fresh ingredients that have received the stringent IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards) 5-Star quality certification, ensuring safety for consumers.
Selparex Plant-Based rTG Omega-3 uses plant-based rTG Omega-3, making it safe for pregnant women and vegetarians. The plant-based capsules further enhance absorption and safety. All three new products are available on Coupang.
