"On-device AI" refers to technology that processes data directly on devices such as smartphones and laptops. Its main features include fast response times, protection of personal information, and stability that is not dependent on network conditions. Compared to cloud-based AI, it is more advantageous for real-time responses and is considered a core technology with high growth potential in the future.

The target applicants are companies with headquarters or branches in Buk-gu District that possess relevant technology and ideas for prototype development. The application fields cover all public services closely related to residents' daily lives, such as administration, safety, and welfare. Six companies will be selected based on criteria including specificity, feasibility, ripple effect, and regional relevance.

Selected companies will receive development funding of approximately 7.5 million KRW per company and opportunities for technology demonstration. Participating companies must produce prototypes by November and undergo technical verification by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute. Applications should be submitted by email after referring to the announcement on the Buk-gu District Office website. For inquiries, please contact the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute.
