A video of the Kia Tasman pickup truck conquering an extreme 50-degree slope course in Australia is gaining popularity among global automotive enthusiasts.

In June, the Australian off-road YouTube channel 'Team Bree Offroad' uploaded a video of the Tasman climbing 'Beer O'clock Hill.' In the video, the stock Tasman vehicle showcases its powerful driving performance and control technology as it traverses a rugged mountain section.

'Team Bree Offroad' is a YouTube channel supported by off-road enthusiasts in Australia. The channel is gaining attention for its content that tests various four-wheel-drive vehicles in extreme environments to verify their performance.

The setting for this video, 'Beer O'clock Hill,' is a course within the 'Springs 4x4 Adventure Park,' an off-road exclusive track located in Queensland, Australia. It is a popular destination among off-road fans. With a steep 50-degree incline, a length of 100 meters, and a mixed terrain of rocks, mud, and puddles, even world-class off-road vehicles have often failed to reach the summit.

Among the many vehicles attempting the course, only a very small number manage to achieve a successful climb, and most of these vehicles are specially tuned for off-road driving. However, the Tasman X-Pro featured in the video stands out because it is in its original, unmodified state. The only change was the installation of off-road tires to improve traction.

The driver activated the '4L (4-Wheel Drive Low) mode' and the 'rear e-LD (electronic locking differential)' functions among the 4WD system modes. He then shifted into first gear and began a slow ascent, assessing the Tasman's driving characteristics and balance for the first time as he climbed the hill. During the drive, a situation arose where one wheel was lifted due to a rock structure.

However, the Tasman's body maintained its balance, and the traction control system actively intervened to prevent wheel slip. The driver stated, "Despite the rough drive, I gained confidence in the Tasman as it held up without any instability," and he completed the climb without hesitation through the challenging slope.

Australia's leading automotive magazine '4X4' also reported on the Tasman's successful ascent of 'Beer O'clock Hill.' The magazine commented, "The Tasman's performance is not exaggerated," and evaluated, "It will establish itself as an excellent competitor for Australian consumers seeking true off-road capability."

Another specialist magazine, 'Drive,' also mentioned, "Kia has made a name for itself by challenging one of the toughest off-road hills in Australia, Beer O'clock Hill," and added, "This has proven Kia's capabilities to Australian consumers."
