According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rain will begin in Jeonnam and Jeju Island from the morning, and in Chungnam and Jeonbuk from the afternoon. At night, rain is expected across the country except for the east coast.
The expected rainfall for the two days starting from the 3rd is as follows: 50 to 100 mm (with some areas receiving more than 150 mm) in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk; 30 to 80 mm (with some areas receiving more than 100 mm) in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon and in Chungbuk; 50 to 150 mm in Gwangju, Jeonnam, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam; and 30 to 100 mm in Jeju Island.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs from 31 to 36 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of rainfall.
Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
