Kim Jaebyeong, Chief of Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters, Conducts Safety Inspection of Greenhouse Village in Gwacheon on July 31

On July 31, the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters visited the "Kkulbeol Village" in Gwacheon City and conducted a fire safety inspection targeting areas densely populated with residential greenhouses.

Kkulbeol Village is an area where most houses are constructed with greenhouse structures, and the passageways are narrow, making it highly likely that a fire could lead to significant damage.

In fact, in March of this year, a fire occurred here, resulting in 21 buildings being either completely destroyed or partially damaged.

They also inspected the placement of fire extinguishers and the accessibility for emergency response teams.

Kim Jaebyeong, Chief of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, emphasized, "In areas densely populated with greenhouses, a fire can directly lead to casualties. We will create an environment where residents can feel safe by implementing preventive measures tailored to local conditions and expanding the installation of fire detectors."
