Daegu Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and KEPCO Daegu Headquarters Support Summer for National Merit Recipients

Health Check and Delivery of Summer Blankets on "On-site Visit Day"

The Daegu Regional Office of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Kim Jongsul) announced on July 31 that, in cooperation with the Daegu Headquarters of Korea Electric Power Corporation, it visited the homes of national merit recipients on July 30 for the "On-site Visit Day," checked on their health conditions, and delivered summer supplies.

Since June, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs has designated the period from June to August as an intensive management period to ensure that national merit recipients and their families do not suffer from the summer heatwave, and has been conducting on-site inspections nationwide. During this visit, employees of the Daegu Regional Office and staff from the Daegu Headquarters of Korea Electric Power Corporation visited solitary national merit recipients, inquired after their well-being, and provided support items such as summer blankets and health supplements.

A representative from the Daegu Headquarters of Korea Electric Power Corporation stated, "We are grateful for the sacrifices and contributions of national merit recipients and will continue to actively participate in welfare support for veterans and their families."

Director Kim Jongsul said, "I would like to thank the Daegu Headquarters of Korea Electric Power Corporation for joining us so that national merit recipients can have a healthy and cool summer," and added, "We will continue to promote various welfare programs to provide tailored support."

Daegu Regional Veterans Office, in collaboration with Korea Electric Power Corporation Daegu Headquarters, is visiting the homes of national veterans on the occasion of "Field Visit Day" to deliver summer supplies.
