The Muan Police Station in South Jeolla Province held an internal strategic meeting to strengthen its on-site response system for major incidents that are drawing significant public attention.

On July 30, the Muan Police Station held the "Major Incident On-Site Response Enhancement Meeting" in the small conference room on the second floor of the station, with around 40 participants including department heads and heads of local police stations and substations.

During the meeting, participants discussed on-site response measures and the establishment of reporting systems, focusing on recent nationally recognized cases such as the Incheon Songdo shooting incident and the abuse case involving foreign workers. They also reviewed internal response strategies to ensure swift and consistent action in the event of similar incidents.

Chief Jeong Seongil emphasized, "All available personnel must be mobilized to ensure appropriate on-site measures for relationship-based crimes such as domestic violence and dating violence." He also stressed, "Please pay special attention to managing suspects and conducting initial investigations thoroughly after apprehension." He added, "In order to strengthen the core police duty of on-site response, I ask everyone to do their best with a proactive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork."
