The Small Business Burden Reduction Credit Support Project provides 500,000 won in credit, debit, or prepaid cards that can be used to pay public utility bills (electricity, gas, water) and the four major social insurance premiums (National Pension, Health Insurance, Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance, and Employment Insurance). Applications have been accepted online since July 14 for small business owners who opened their businesses before May 1, 2024, and whose annual sales in 2024 or 2025 exceed 0 won but do not exceed 300 million won.

Park Sunghyo, President of SEMAS, visited small business owners near the SEMAS headquarters in Daejeon to promote the project and listen to feedback regarding difficulties in using the credit from beneficiaries. One small business owner met on-site said, "An employee from the headquarters visited my store to promote the project, which allowed me to apply in time," and added, "Our business plans to use the credit for paying National Pension and Health Insurance premiums."

Afterwards, President Park visited the telephone counseling center in Seo-gu, Daejeon, to check the number of incoming calls, response rates, types of complaints, and the status of counselor staffing, ensuring that the project is being operated smoothly. Park stated, "Based on the feedback received on-site, I will pay close attention to ensure that the Small Business Burden Reduction Credit Support Project is implemented more effectively," and added, "I will do my best to ensure that small business owners can create a stable business environment through smooth project operation."

Meanwhile, as of now, the number of applications for the Small Business Burden Reduction Credit Support Project has reached 2.47 million. This accounts for approximately 79% of the 3.11 million eligible recipients. From August 1, 2025, business owners who opened in 2025 and prepaid card applicants will also be able to apply, so the number of users is expected to increase further.
