Visiting Service for Citizens with Limited Mobility
Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons Delivered Directly to Homes
In order to improve the convenience of issuing livelihood recovery consumption coupons for citizens with limited mobility, a visiting service will be actively implemented until August 12.
The service is intended for those who have difficulties applying for livelihood recovery consumption coupons in person, including: ▲ elderly people living alone ▲ individuals with physical, visual, or brain disabilities ▲ those who have been assessed for long-term care grades ▲ and other vulnerable groups with limited mobility.
The city plans to cooperate with dedicated teams in each town, township, and neighborhood, as well as with local social welfare councils, to visit the homes or residential facilities of eligible individuals, assist them in applying for the livelihood recovery consumption coupons, and deliver prepaid cards. In addition to the eligible groups, any citizen who requires the application service can request it directly by phone, or apply by proxy through a village head, community leader, or welfare facility manager at the local community service center.
Hwang Jinseo, Director of Economic Policy, stated, "We have established a comprehensive support system to ensure that no citizen is excluded from the consumption coupon benefits," and added, "We expect tangible effects in restoring livelihoods through on-site, community-focused administration."
